There hasn't been a Dem president since Harry Truman that has had the balls to beat the crap out of the enemy. If Carter wasn't such a wuss we wouldn't have this question now. Clinton was busy with a cigar and a young intern, getting drunk and falling down Greg Normans steps and breaking his leg. Regan's hands were tied buy lib rules. And Kosavo was a UN thing. A Peace loving nation like this is better served by a civil war of our own. The left wing give to the poor system has proved such a flop that the only ones making it out of poverty is the Kennedy's. That's if you can keep them sober, off drugs, out of jail for murder, or off the bottom of the ocean. It is a fact that a lib president will turn the other cheek so many times all that's left is the stain on the dress.

Please reserve your slanderous "surrender monkey" jabs for the French. We Democrats have a vigorous plan for national defense which I can sum up in just four words: cute, little puppy doggies.
You see, while you belligerent Cons only see enemies who must be destroyed, we see potential friends and allies. These "terrorists" you speak of are just misguided children. Sure, while they may appear to you as bent on the destruction of the Western world, we Liberals understand that they simply need the affection they were deprived us as children. That is why we plan to have Jane Fonda and a cast of Hollywood luminaries, including Sean Penn, Harry Belafonte, and Martin Sheen bring a plane load of adorable, little puppie doggies to the jihadists.
At first, Jane Fonda was reluctant to be involved. She had the very same idea during the Vietnam War, and when she brought puppy doggies to placate the Viet Cong, she didn't realize that they don't keep dogs as pets; they eat them. Jane was inconsolable.
We are all convinced that, once the Jihadists get to hold these darling, loving bundles of joy, their hearts will melt, and they will renounce any further hostilies. We're still in negotiation with Harpo Studios, but we're trying to get Oprah to film this all, and be there for the tearful reconciliation. She has a lot of experience in this area, and it will make for great national tv.
We're just dying to prove the Republicans wrong!

A loaded question, but I assume democrats want the same thing in a president republicans do: competence, honesty, integrity, and leadership.
Sadly, I've yet to see a candidate or even a previous president in recent history with such properties, but I have seen a Texan by way of ivy league, coke snorting, drunk driving plutocrat and a southern glazed sellout with a penchant for living humidors.

Bill Clinton went to war as to the comment earlier...some one should check their facts on Kosovo. I'm pretty sure he bombed the **** out of Iraq at some point too.
I think there's a difference between a stupid war and a war that makes sense. I think Obama and Edwards would take us to war if need-be.
My goodness people, Hillary and Edwards voted for the Iraq war! Learn something.

Of course they do! As long as they also support handing our nation over to a bunch of illegal trespassers who want to turn America into North Mexico.

HOw do you surrender when your country isn't even being attacked? HOw do you surrender policing a civil war? I guess I would rather surrender than continue down the path of failed diplomacy and money wasting
