im 15, and i havnt started my period, but iv been having that discharge thing since i was like 12/ 13. iv been having the discharge for a couple of years so when is it going to start? they say that when u first see it, ur period will start soon. mines just awkward...please help me!

honestly do not worry! i was exactly the same! i was having the brownish discharge for at least 2 years before i started! don't worry sweetie it will eventually start everybody is different! in the mean time just think your self lucky you aren't going through what most 15 year old girls do lol!

When in doubt, go se a doctor..it will ease your mind and alert you to any possible problems. In the meantime, I would say that there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Girls get their periods at all different times depending on their diets, genetics, physical activity, stress, hormones, and many other things. I got my period when I was 11, my best friend got hers when she was 16..and yes generally you start getting discharge soon before you get ur period..but that doesnt mean you cant get it way before, or even after you get ur first period. Bottom line, theres probabaly nothing wrong, just give your body some time.

do not worry. I was 16 before i started my period and i started having white discharge around 13 years old as well. this is normal.. dont worry it will come.

You'll start soon. I had a girlfriend that didn't start until she was 17. Everybody's body and hormones are different.
