If you don't have a beef with Michael Moore, then this question doesn't apply to you. :)

It seems that most people are more concerned about his weight and his presentation than his political views. What a sad, shallow world we live in. What a shame!

You know what? I think you should block me because I'm gonna state publically that you're just another twentysomething kid who thinks they know everything but when it comes right down to it you're just obnoxious and full of crap.

You've given some of the most vapid, irrational and inane answers I've seen on this site and now you have the nerve to take some ridiculous moral high ground.

puh-LEEZE!

Watch "An Unreasonable Man" the documentary about Ralph Nader

Moore hangs himself with his own words. There is no attack on Moore...just his own words

The film includes a Michael Moore speech in 2000 and another Michael Moore speech in 2004. Both times Moore is being very passionate about his cause....only problem being the 2000 and 2004 speeches are exact opposites. It is impossible for one person to hold both of these positions...

Those opposite speeches as well as Moore's betrayal of his values, on his knees, degrading all that he stands for, on Bill Maher's show...have made me take pause in regards to Michael Moore.

He disguises political opinion pieces as documentaries. Actually, there isn't even really an attempt at disguise - he's lauded as a great documentary film maker by the industry's establishment because he goes out and says what they want to hear.

Farenheight 911 was the most egregious example. It was a two hour campaign commercial that people paid money to see. And it won a freak'n Palm d'Or.

He tries to come across as a social activist. He makes one sided editorial films designed to steer one's thoughts to a predetermined conclusion, and tries to pass them off as documentaries, when really their just editorial films, exploiting the misfortunes of others. He's just another capitalist out there raking in the money, something that I have no problem with, the way he's going about it is what bothers me.

My beef with Michael Moore is that he finds a problem, decides all by himself what the cause of the problem is, and then goes out and finds (or manufactures) "evidence" to support his assertions. In "Roger & Me," he decided corporate greed was behind the closing of a bunch of GM plants despite reports of profits in the early '80's. Did he consider the effect of the energy crisis? No. Did he consider the emerging Japanese car market? No. Did he look at the UAW, where a line worker with no education and no experience was getting paid three times the minimum wage for doing a job a monkey can do? No. Ditto that with "Bowling for Columbine." He decided the availability of guns and those who push gun rights like the NRA were to blame. Did he take a close look at the parents of the "Trenchcoat Mafia" who were to self-absorbed to see what their kids were doing? No. Did he consider violence on TV? No. Did he consider the increase in the crime rate since more "progressive" individuals decided the purpose of the corrections system was to rehabilitate rather than punish? No. BOTTOM LINE: He's not a documentarian; he's a yellow journalist. He places blame without fully investigating all the facts and circumstances. There's a word for that in the English language: PREJUDICE.

Aside from the fact that he's a phony, lying, left-wing socialist who hates this country, the only other reason to dislike him is that he's a FAT phony, lying, left-wing socialist who hates this country.

You say we live in a sad, shallow world.
I think Moores political views are sad and shallow. He is also a big fat liar.
Other than that he's swell.
