vaginal itch is a symptom of a yeast problem, but you usually also have a white cheesy looking discharge with it, and the itch is very intense. What you could have is bacterial vaginitis,in which case you need to see a doctor for treatment. Also, seeing doctor would be the best way to get all your questions answered, they are used to answering such questions from young girls. So tell your mom, what is going on, as ask her to take you to the doctor.

If your considering using a douche it tells you how to use it on the box, what i would do is go to your local drug store and buy some yeast infection products they have pills, creams, suppositories whatever you want they have, there is also this vitamin called asphillous(thats not the correct spelling) and it works because I get yeast infections once in awhile, if it doesnt go away within 2-3 days after using these products I would go to your doctor they maybe something else other than that wrong.

i actually just treated a yeast infection. they are very common and nothing to be embarassed about. some side effects of a yeast infection are white lumpy looking stuff coming out of your vagina, itching, and burning. there is NO smell to it. a douche is not used for this kind of infection. it will not go away on its own. you need to stop at a local drug store and by monistat...its a 1 day treatment that will get rid of symptoms in a few days. but you need to make sure you have the lumpy white stuff coming out to make sure its a yeast infection. i hope this helps!! : ]

douching is not good for you, it messes up the normal flora(resident bacteria) of the vagina, which by itself can cause a yeast infection. when the pH of the vagina gets out of the normal range, it allows "bad" bacteria, yeast, or fungus to grow, leading to a yeast infection. Go to the store or pharmacy and pick up some yeast infection medication. there are vaginal suppositories and creams that will ease the itching. if it hasn't improved in about three days, go see a doctor.

NO DONT DOUCHE IT IS DANGEROUS IT WILL MAKE THE PROMBLEM WORSE
it might not be an yeas ifection maybe an allergic reaction to soap but suggest you see a doctor they can prescribe you the best medication to make the itching go away rather then make a homemade medication solution
