99 American soldiers died in Iraq this month and over the last 3 months 326 have been killed. This represents the deadliest three-month period since the beginning of the war and occupation. Call me crazy, but considering the escalated violence, continued instability of the Iraqi government, and the rising death toll of both military and civilians, the only measurable “benefit” of the surge is more bloodshed. Come September, when the situation in Iraq continues to deteriorate, what new excuse will Bush fabricate to justify the continued insanity we call the war on terror?

Too soon too tell ; but it seems like some are still fighting the war on the "War on Terror" . The weird thing about those who keep this death toll - is that they seem to gloss over the fact that terrorist insurgents are responsible ..the same terrorists who told the Clinton adminstration they would destroy America .

Aren't our soldiers American? Or are any people involved or supportive just "Bush fans?"
And, I wouldn't call this a surge. Most military would agree that a true surge involves at least 100,000 troops. Just be thankful that our President has stood his ground and not reinstated the draft.

crazy is being disrespectful

tell me why Casey Sheehan was always called Cindy's son?
it's because the only value the left finds in the military is being able to recite the daily death toll like a pack of ghouls

you and harry reid seem to have more info than anyone else, including the generals on the ground. you keep listening to what the media chooses to report and see what that gets you. with all that info can you tell me how many schools have been opened or rebuilt? hospitals? sewage systems? anything about the infrastructure? your numbers are tainted with liberal bias. 12,000 dies in one day during d-day invasion. although one is to many, whats right is right.and in sept the bush admin will have to make a decision and so will the iraqi gov

Since the surge is only a few weeks old I think most of the numbers you cite are meaningless. Why don't we wait until September and see how things are going at that point.

The man has been delusional all along. He'll come up with another delusion. Hopefully he will run out them before he leaves office.
