It's normal for the eyes to wear out at different rates. You probably are fine but you SHOULD go to the doctor and have it checked out because you only get one set of eyes. I have a friend who prevented a worse situation by getting it checked out early.
She is fine now, but could have lost sight in the eye if she hadn't gone to the doctor. Don't sit there and think scary thoughts, just go get your eyes checked. Call today and tell the doctor what's going on so you don't have to spend the weekend worrying.

How old are you? If you are younger than 30 or so, you can expect your eyesight to change. You are probably nearsighted.
My vision is -3.75 in one eye and -2.75 in the other. Glasses are made to correct your sight for the most optimum level.
Things will fluctuate for a while, then at age 35 another change will happen and you will need "reading glasses."
Don't worry. Have an eye exam every 2 years and keep yopur glasses clean.

This is not unusual. An extreme difference might be a cause for concern, but minor differences are not significant. Your optometrist will just adjust your prescription to make up for it.
My left eye is a bit weaker than the right one.

No, that's not bad at all. It is not unusual for your eyes to have two different needs. Each eye has it's own retina which determines how well you will see. You might also want to try contacts, for only one eye they'd be super cheap. I like Acuvue Oasys...soooo comfy!!
Make sure you see an optometrist tho and talk about your concerns.

First of all, wearing glasses makes your eyes get weaker because they grow dependent on them. So when you take your glasses off, everything looks different. And talk to a specialist.

My visual problems are very like yours. And my family is prone to such things. You might want to get tested for Glaucoma.
One thing you might want to look into is laser surgery to correct your eyes: I've not had it done yet, but apparently it is very effective- if it's the right thing for you.
Good luck!
