Exactly who and what I am today.

With all the good times, the rough times and the really bad times, I've found that every rough patch in life has been a challenge that's been given me to overcome and, once overcome, leaves me a stronger, wiser person.

Happiness is something you find inside your soul and that gives you a strength, a confidence, and a peace of mind to deal with life's challenges.

Some people can have the world at their command, with riches beyond measure, but still be empty inside, trying to fill a spiritual void with material things. Others can have little or nothing materially and yet have a peace of mind, a contentment, a "happiness" that raises them above their lack of possessions.

I think in the final analysis, "happiness" is . . . . a sense of humor. :-)

happiness is sleeping with bad thoughts or no thoughts at all, and waking up with a silly smile in your face, not knowing why... but the smiling goes on. and you thank god you r alive yet one more day, ready to live it to the limit. happiness is when the guy next door cuts a rose from his garden and places it in your doorstep, with a note that has a lyric or two from your favourite song. this is happiness: not knowing what tomorrow brings, but making each day count!

Happiness In Slavery
slave screams he thinks he knows what he wants
slave screams thinks he has something to say
slave screams he hears but doesn't want to listen
slave screams he's being beat into submission

don't open your eyes you wont like what you see
the devils of truth steal the souls of the free
don't open your eyes take it from me
i have found
you can find
happiness in slavery

slave screams he spends his life learning conformity
slave screams he claims he has his own identity
slave screams he's going to cause the system to fall
slave screams but he's glad to be chained to that wall

don't open your eyes you wont like what you see
the blind have been blessed with security
don't open your eyes take it from me
i have found
you can find
happiness in slavery

i don't know what i am i don't know where i've been
human junk just words and so much skin
stick my hands thru the cage of this endless routine
just some flesh caught in this big broken machine

Enough.
Enough food, enough sleep, enough warmth, enough activity ... happiness is a sufficiency, and a realization that it is indeed a sufficiency.
Happiness is freedom from want or wanting.
