she has to file a court order before she takes the baby out. she needs to notify you too. which she did. but it has to go through court. she can get in trouble for taking the baby out illegally.

Sue for custody and get a court order that bans her from leaving. You have equal rights under the law as a parent. If she tries to leave, go to court and challenge any child support payments, but if you are ordered to pay alimony or share the marital/communal assets, then comply, because that is only fair to both sides.

depends on what state you live in and the laws for that state.. most generally the mother ( if not married to the father) can do whatever she pleases.
now if you know in advance that these are her plans, you can go to the court and ask for a child protection order, and blood tests .. but she wont be able to leave state until the court decides

I believe that she can unless you have a court order stating otherwise. My divorce decree says that I can take my daughter out of state for short visits, but to move out of state I have to have the permission of the court. Sorry.

She can do what she wants as long as your not married, another reason for marriage. Most States won't let a spouse remove a child out of State or more then 200 miles from home.

She can and I'm sure she will...but she has to let you know if there is a court case like....visitation, child support...etc...and also if she is only going out for a while and not living then she is totally okay with doing so...

I think she can if you don't have any legal court documents to keep her from it! Talk to a lawyer!
