I just got the result and the test from tuesday was 201 and the test from Thursday was 312 the nurse said they like to see it double but it could be that I'm so early in my pregnancy I have to wait until Monday to talk to my doctor to see what she says about it but I'm a nervous wreck I ask should I be worried the nurse said no has anyone had a test that did not double I'm freaking out what could be the cause I'm 5 weeks pregnant
update doctor called me to have another test done Monday I asked her is this something I should be worried about and she said it's hard to say with just one test...now I feel more scared then I was before I thought if it's going up it's good is this normal to have three test like this I will not have a ultrasound until the 10th of July because it's to soon using the date from my last period (may 24) I'm 5 weeks pregant but I'm really only 3 weeks...I think that's right I soo scared I can't even think

As long as the number went up it is good. I am not positive but I thought the number doubled every two OR three days. My number didn't double, but did go up, over the course of three days and I had a wonderful pregnancy and healthy baby girl.
Nothing is "normal" and every pregnancy and woman is different. Be patient and don't stress over it.

The fact that the levels went up is a good sign, but they do like the numbers to double every 2 days, but sometimes it doubles every 3 days. I think you're fine, your levels are normal for 5 weeks.

Don't worry -- it doubles every two or three days. Yours went up and so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. If it's one thing I've learned, it's that there's everyone is different and even every pregnancy is different. Comparing yourself with everyone else is just asking for trouble. Check online for HCG levels week by week -- you'll see there's a HUMONGOUS range and you're right on track. Good luck to you!

I am 7 weeks now. But when I was abour 5 weeks.. mine was 1443. However, there is an extremely borad range for the levels. When my level was 1443, the range for normal was from 18-about 1500. I dont understand how the numbers can be sooo different... but by that... You are normal! Goodluck!
