What is the bug that is furry with many legs about the size of a caterpillar?

I have seen many of these insects about the size of a caterpillar it's furry, with many many legs and they craw very fast. there always on the walls or on the ceiling They are darkish color. I need to know the name of the insect so i know what to get to kill the insect. Thank You

I think I had one of these i my room once. very creepy to see when your about to go to sleep...I belive you may be thinking of a cave centipede,

If that it I used generalized wasp killer with a 10 foot stream.

Insects have 6 legs, no more, no less (unless they lost some in some accident of fight). Caterpillars have six legs and also a few pseudopods to support their distended abdomen, and do not usually move very fast.

If you see a lot of legs, you can be looking at a centipede, a millipede or some other myriapod, but those are not "furry".

i don't know the name but i find that soap/detergent works on killing many insects. And it does not have a killing odour.
I discovered that when I was trying to kill a cockroach and had no pif paf [like raid] at home and this friend of mine got this spray detergent and we sprayed it and to our surprise the cockroach died.
I also find that although there are sprays marketed to kill specific insects, they work on most insects as well.

I don't know if I would consider the furry, but since it is inside, is it a silverfish?

Sounds like a centipede......try google image search for centipede to see if it looks like it...
