Why do people of a certain age wear more jumpers and that as they get older?

Don't say it's because they feel the cold more. Even in summer.

Older people's circulation slows down quite a bit. They will often be cold at temps that younger people would find warm.

Maybe as they get older they care more about being comfortable and less about being fashion slaves. And some older people feel cold even at 85 degrees F.
