If you like the look of liquid liner I would recommend trying MAC fluidline in blacktrack. It is a cream base, so it is silky and easy to apply, dries instantly, and stays on all day....plus it comes in amazing colors like bronze and dark purple...I use a small angle brush to apply it, or the regular eyeliner brush, and a small jar lasts a LONG time!

I first line lightly with a powder liner and a liner brush. Then I cover that line with a very thin line over the powder liner. I have tried many brands, and the tip of the liner makes a big difference in how easily it applies. Try using one with a flexible, very thin liner brush - the stiff, thick ones are horrible & I always make a mess. I pull my lid sideways and it helps. You can always use a make-up remover on a Q-tip to fix any mistakes - go over the line again so that it is thinner - or any "stray" lines, if necessary. It is fun to play with! Try different colors of eyeliners & see the effect it has on your eyes.

No your not liquid liner is very hard to work with I still don't use it cause I can never get it to go on right and look the same on both eyes. I love the depth of the color but it is hard to use. I say try practicing when your not trying to make it look perfect and wipe the brush in the bottle before applying

Only put it on the top.. you should keep your eyes open and hold your hand steady. Just barely go right above the eyelashes, and do it somwhat quickly, otherwise it will look like a mess. Liquid eyeliner isn't that great anyway, you should use a regular pencil liner, it doesn't look as fake and only wear lots of liner at night.

Practice is the best answer I could tell you. The biggest mistake I notice people make is getting there lashes with the eyeliner. Boy that can make a mess. If you want more answers on good products you can e mail me

No your not stupid...it is kinda tricky, try getting less liquid on the brush as you go, so its not so goopy, and just steady your hand, you dont have to make it across the whole eye in one swoop, jus take your time! Hope I helped!

dot it along your upper lash line to start. Do this very lightly. Then you can "connect" those dots very carefully.
I usually use a soft pencil liner instead. It's easier.
But with liquid you need to be more careful.
If you want to try pencil, go wtih Revlon.

with a very steady hand, [try resting your elbow on a widow ledge] looking in a well-lit mirror, slowly draw a straight line on your closed top eyelid, holding it taut on the outer corner, taking your time [some people find it easier with their mouth open, to concentrate better]. repeat on your other eye, and you're good to go!

Pull your eyelid tight (like chinesse eyes) and very carefully apply the liner. This way it goes on smoother.
