I have 3 pets, a fish, cat, and dog. I wanted to add to my zoo, so which one of these should I buy:
a. bird
b. turtle
c. dwarf rabit
Please list the pros and cons and any expiriences. If you know of any other naimals that fit into the catagory, please write them. (catagory: small, easy to care for)

I would think bird, Because I have a bird myself, it isnt loud or annoying, It can talk alittle and it picks up tricks fast, Its a cockatail, You can buy one for cheap around some pet stores, And my bird gets allong with my dog VERY well, They just sit and its like they talk to eachother, I have 2 cats myself too, And they get along fine. So a bird would be better because a Turtle barley doesnt do anything, And a dwarf rabit is messy, and they stink!

I suggest a rabbit but probably not a netherland dwarf (that is the breed name) unless you live on the west coast it is pretty hard to find nice ones.
I suggest looking on arba.net at the different breeds, I sugest the standard rex because I breed them but you know, they are not for everyone but they feel like velvet. Contact me if you need the names of breeders.
Oh and I sugest talking to a professional breeder and getting one that doesn't have the right coloration, they usually go to the zoo to feed bears but you would save them from that.

I don't know about taking care of turtles, but some birds are loud and messy. Dwarf and polish rabbits are small and easy to clean, especially if they are litter trained.

Rabbits all the way!!!! They are fairly easy to take care of and so adorable!!!! Turtles are pretty boring if you ask me and birds , don't even get me started!!! lol!!! :) Good Luck!! PS. I have a bunny named Baby!!!

Turtle. They are quiet, require minimal (but regular and proper of course) care, are fascinating to watch and live a nice long time.
THey can carry salmonella, however.

i had a rabbit before- they are good pets.
between the bird and the turtle it depends- the turtle will more then likely out last you but they are good pets also.
birds can get annoying and messy.

if you get a bird they can be cute but some can be very loud and annoying... turtles are quite and cute very slow ... rabits are soo cute fluffy and cuddly
i would go with a rabbit

I think a bird and the best bird I can think of is a zebra finch...I have one and he is so cute they dont churp loud they make little cute peeping noises...lol...well thats my opinion...Good luck to ya!

a rabbit!
they can be litter trained and are the cutest things to watch! i have one and he is amazing!!!! a great family pet and a great snuggle bug.
go with a rabbit!!

Rabbits can be just as much work as a dog or cat. Plus they live (if healthy) 8-10 years or longer. Please read this website first. http://www.rabbit.org
