I bought this blue nail polish that has this greenish shimmer mixed in. I really like the color, but I never wear blue nail polish because, I'm definitily NOWHERE NEAR "gothic," I like pink. Is there a certain design I can make on my nails so I can actually use this color? I really like it.

I wouldn't consider blue nail polish "gothic" but if your worried about the way it is going to look i would go for a very light pale blue. My girlfriend wears that color all the time in the summer and it looks really nice.

Actually, dark colored nail polish is very in right now! If thats too dark for you, try the dark purple [very in syle;]
It's called "Linkin park after midnight" hehe yeah thats the name of the nail polish.

You see, people think that gothic is about the way you dress! Thats not it at all! It's all about how they are, there personality, there interests. Somebody can be a total prep, and still be gothic! People just don't get it :/

I say, go for it :D

If you don't want to look "Gothic" if u got out with that nail polish on wear light , Bright clothing that doesn't look Gothic , like a green polo with Madras shorts and American eagle sandals, this will even everything out =]

What I would do is paint every other nail another color. Do something like Blue green blue green or something. That way people don't think your Gothic because you aren't doing something like blue and black and red. You could do blue purple because thats kinda girly. Or just pain all your nails that one color. Just don't wear black with them ;-)

To be honest with you if your not gothic and you dont dres sit then i think you will be fine painting your nails that way because being 'gothic' is all in how you dress so dont wear dark clothes while you have your nails painted that color n you'll b fine! :)

you can put the blue nailpolish on as is.. no designs, that looks tacky. If you wear the nail polish just dress real preppy or w.e. your style is... the color of your nails wont influence your look if your clothes overpowers it.. if you wear all black and grease down your hair to your forehead and wrap chains around your pants, thats another story

Use it for your toes. You can add a decal on your big toenail- i.e. a daisy or stars & strips for 4th of July

For manicures, consider adding a sparkly layer or a sheer color light blue to tone down the shade.

It won't look "gothic" it's just a color.
I see models wearing Black nailpolish all the time and they don't look Goth at all.
Just try using the nailpolish. Besides, you can't change it..
Or get a lighter color.
