Slingshot Broke?

I recently bought a slingshot and the band broke. How do I put a new band on the slingshot again?

A real slingshot? Nobody breaks a rubber band. It is possible that it was a cheap toy and the band is just imitation rubber.
Buy a new one.
If you really love this one and simply want to patch it, hey even cheap things still costs money, I can suggest using a garter, the best you can find. Wide bands are not sold anymore except for the 3 mm rubber bands. Well, tie both ends of a cut piece of rubber band on a strip of leather with a good polyester string or regular cotton string on both ends , then tie both ends of the rubber band on the slingshot making sure the leather is in the middle.
