I felt my second at about 12 weeks (flutters) and by 16 weeks I felt actual kicking. By 17 1/2 weeks, my husband could see it, and feel it with his hand.... I honestly don't think anyone really knows the earliest you can feel a baby. My mom said she felt hers at 10 weeks! Most books tell you not until after 16 weeks (I know that is wrong) So really there is no telling how far along you are just based on when you start to feel movement.

Good Luck!

You probably won't feel your baby kick until sometime between 16 and 22 weeks. Veteran moms tend to notice those first subtle kicks — also known as "quickening" — earlier than first-time moms. Thinner women tend to feel movement earlier and more often than women who carry more weight. The fluttering that you are feeling is probably just the extra blood flow to your uterus.

Congrats!

You probably won't feel your baby kick until sometime between 16 and 22 weeks, even though he started moving at 7 or 8 weeks and you may have already witnessed his acrobatics if you've had an ultrasound.

Veteran moms tend to notice those first subtle kicks — also known as "quickening" — earlier than first-time moms. (A woman who's been pregnant before can more easily distinguish her baby's kick from other belly rumblings, such as gas.)

I felt the first "flutter" movement at about 2 months, maybe just over.

I felt the flutters about 16 weeks.
But i didnt feel the strong kicks until about 20 weeks.
How far along are you?

I think it depends on your weight. If your overweight; like quite a bit it will definitely take longer. I was average weight and with my three babies I seemed to have felt them flutter about 3 months. ( I think )

Ive heard second time moms say they can feel something at 13-14 weeks. Which is considered pretty early.

no matter what others say I KNOW i felt my son mave at 12 weeks, i saw it on ultrasound and felt it at the same time!

It could be the baby, it could be the uterus stretching. Either way congrats and good luck!

You didn't say how far along you were. I felt my son at 3 months along, which I heard at the time was early.
