When my son died and than 5 months later my husband died. I took losing my husband hard but no one ever expects to bury their child. I will never get over that. I still cry at the littlest memories or seeing movies we use to watch together.

at age 18 I gave my baby up for adoption. Please don't judge...I was a very mature 18 yr old, thought I was in love, but them woke up and realized that I wasn't ready for marriage. My son will be 10 in 13 days. I relive that moment he left my arms every year and of course think of him everyday. He has everything he could imagine. He now has a great life...better than I could have ever provided for him.

The day he left me I collapsed onto the ground and can't remember a single thing that happened the rest of that day.

When I was 17 and in college, I had my first girlfriend. We were sitting on her car kissing and talking about what we would be doing after the summer was over and we returned to school. For some reason, it dawned on me that we were both lying to ourselves and that we would never see one another again. It was a premonition. As I kissed her, tears welled up in my eyes and I couldn't control it. They flowed. When the summer was over, she returned from her European trip, but not to school. Her father wouldn't let her accept my calls and I never saw her again.

Coincidently, that time was just last weekend. My wife severely burned her hand in a cooking accident. She was cooking something special for me, because I usually do the cooking, so I was not there to help her. She accidently splashed hot oil on her hand and suffered second degree burns. I felt awful. Still do. Therapy is going well, but it is very painful. :-(
