Okay this is weird, in our apartment we have a picture in a frame hanging above the bar. A few days ago I was looking at it and thinking "I wonder what would happen to the glass if the picture fell, would it shattering or spider out or what?" I didn't tell anyone about this, it was just one of the random thoughts going through my head. So last night I was almost asleep and heard a loud bang. I thought it was just the metal button on jeans going through the washer so I went to sleep. This morning my husband went into the living room and the picture was laying on the ground, it wasn't shattered like someone stepped on it. It was broken into four pieces almost even. I called my mom and she said it was precognition and it runs in our family as well as seeing, I guess you call them shadows of spirits which I've seen before in my old house as well as my apartment (she called them yahoodees not like ghosts but shadows of people. Do you think I'm crazy or has this ever happened to you?

No, you're not crazy, and yes, it has happened to me, too.

But, stranger coincidences have happened to me as well. I don't see those as being instances of precognition, however. If I think about it, I may daydream or ponder about many random, different things in a day. But most of those things don't come to pass. On occasion when the one does happen to come to pass, I'd be tempted to think that I'm precognitive but I'd be forgetting about everything else I've thought about that did not come to pass. It's called selective memory and it's at the root of illusions like these.

So, my opinion is that you're neither crazy nor precognitive. It's just a trick our mind plays on us.

Yeah, it's happened to me plenty of times. My own premonitions are just like yours. I'll start wondering about something out of no where and then a day or two later it comes true. With me, for some strange reason, these things tend to center around the TV. I don't know why. Maybe I just used to watch television too much and my mind is tuned into it more than real life. Quite often I'll start thinking about a certain scene or a line that was said in a show or a movie and within a couple of days I would see that exact episode or movie on TV. At first I did think it was just a coincidence but it's been happening for over a year and can no longer be thought as that. At times I'll get thoughts about other things as well and they will happen within a few days. More increasingly now since I don't watch TV as much anymore. You should read up on it and start taking control of it. I'm planning on doing just that once I have enough free time. If this gift runs in the family and you have it then you should develop it and use it. Hope this answers it ^.^

I don't think they were the 'shadow people' that dropped your picture. I do think that you may have some psychic ability, or as your mother says, precognition.

Precognition is the direct knowledge or perception of the future, obtained through extrasensory means. Precognition is the most frequently reported of all extrasensory perception (ESP) experiences, occurring most often (60 percent to 70 percent) in dreams. It may also occur spontaneously in waking visions, auditory hallucinations, flashing thoughts entering the mind, and the sense of "knowing." Precognitive knowledge also may be induced through trance, channeling, mediumship, and divination.

Usually the majority of precognitive experiences happen within a forty-eight hour period prior to the future event, most often it is within twenty-four hours.

Ok, I dont know anything about the picture. I suppose it could be precognition, although I am not entirely convinced that such exists. Personally I am inclined towards coincidence, but am open to other possibilities.

The shadow people exist. They were never people however. They are fallen angels, aka demons. Believe it or not, and most people don't, they are part of an ancient war. The war was over long ago, but the battles still continue.

The shadow people have been seen by many people throughout history in many cultures. Many movies have even been made about them in our time. Wes Cravens "They", Studio Giblis "Totoro", The book "Odd Thomas".

They are attracted to certain people. I have not seen them since I got Jesus into my life.

No you are not crazy! This happened to me after contacting the spirit that lives in my famous house!!! (Bing Crosby's niece's ex home) we had purchased some Egyptian pictures and I said quietly in my head as i was dozing off to sleep, "OK BOB IF YOU ARE HERE PROVE IT, TAKE DOWN ONE OF THE EGYPTIAN PICTURES BEFORE I WAKE UP"...I DOZED OFF. The next morning, this HUGE picture of Cleopatra fell off and broke in pieces!!!! Having made contact with the spirit in this house with a wee gee board, i have seen Bob as a "Shadow Person" at least 6 times...

I am afraid to ask for anything else broken...so i said, "please no more breaking pictures."

I don't think you are weird at all, both my cousin and I have had things like this happen to us before........I think this is where the phrase, be careful or you will jinx yourself comes from =)
or how about this, have you ever woke up with a song in your head and turned on the radio and there it was same verse as you have coming out of your mouth?? I have this all the time and not because my alarm played it in my subconscious either because my alarm is a beeping alarm.

Seeing shadow people runs in your family, as well as precognition, and seeing. A combination of all of these seems to be what is happening to you. No you are not crazy. You have a special gift, a six sense. That is wonderful. And yes it happens to others as well.

You'd be at the set of coronation avenue! In idea I bet if not anything ever happend, there might were no Big Bang which might imply that stipulations for life might no longer were created!! In physics isn't there a regulation that states EVERY ACTION HAS AN EQUAL AND OPPOSITTE REACTION?? Therefore if there was once no preliminary motion, evoloution might no longer exist.... Cool! Existential questions:)

I don't think you're crazy at all. I've seen a few shadow people here and there before myself. I'm not sure that I would like to be able to predict things though because I'd scare myself...LOL
