is anyone else having problems with vista i cant seem to email

Vista is troublesome and will be for some time to come and when they get it right it will be time to change to the next bit of business ME came and went XP is going grand now so I would advise you to roll back to XP so to speak and let them get the bugs out of Vista. You are not the only one having trouble with it. But if you bought a new PC with Vista built in you can't go back as far as I know?

Vista is a very cumbersome Operating System. It takes up A LOT of resources and really doesn't work all the well anyway because there are still bugs. I'm sticking with XP for a long time.

Sounds like your e-mail isn't set up correctly. I've been running Vista for 5 months now, and have had absolutely no problems at all. It does need a little tweaking after it is installed, but then, so does XP.

A lot of people are having problems with Vista, I've heard that several people have actually asked for downgrades to XP as a result. You would think they would check any new system before launching!

Windows mail doesn't work despite setting it up properly,it will probably take Microsoft another year to iron out bugs/errors in vista ,just like when they first brought xp out it had the same problems.

my vista laptop is fine but my mates upgraded to vista and has no end of probs since. the only issue ive had was when i lost my service (due to bad weather) and had to re authenticate all my passwords to get back on the internet. took ages but is ok now

Vista has been sucking eggs. There are Microsoft executives whose laptops won't run it, and it has the usual unbelievable assortment of bugs and vulnerabilities that you expect from commercial software vendors, especially Microsoft.
If you want a real operating system, install Linux. It'll save you a lot of money in upgrade fees in the long run!

Connection problems in Vista are gaining legendary status, but Win Mail hasn't caused us any grief at all.
Call your ISP Help desk and get this sorted, as it is unusual.

That's not Vista is it - that's your email not set up correctly
