17:00 (5 P.M.) for me.
Only one cup so far.
But, I drink coffee recreationally (I don't drink sodas as a rule).
So, it's not uncommon for me to drink a carafe of coffee every day.
While I enjoy the taste of coffee, it doesn't really wake me up. Fortunately, that means it doesn't keep me up either.

Been at work for 7 hrs and have had 2 large cups of coffee and a Dr. Pepper....I TOTALLY agree with your second statement.
