Well I couldn't rely on them, so I got my own business and now I work alone. ;-)

pretended to get along with the people at the desks nearest mine...
made friends because I'm friendly, even though I didn't really agree with them about anything and pretended to ...
and I liked very few of them, though none of them actually knew that.
(If you're in a political workplace, you either play the game or you pack it up and go home.)

I work with and for myself, so we get along just fine. Although sometimes I do have to tell her about her attitude. =)
