what product out there can keep the water out?

Depending on the volume of water and where it is leaking, caulk is an inexpensive way to seal out water. It may be worth checking the flashing above the door.

I would suggest removing the trim, both inside and out, and caulking any space that looks like water could leak in. Let the caulk dry and replace the trim.

Try getting a door sweep for the bottom of the door. You may also have to look at getting a new door if there is too much water damage done to the door.

You may have a faulty seal and just need to replace it. Try that first.
