It's about 1-1.5 mm at the mo and want to get it fixed before I have to change the whole windscreen.

Autoglass will repair your windscreen for you, if you are fully comp on your insurance it won't cost you anything if not it will codt about £50 depending on what area you live in.

Ring your Insurance Company first. Many of them offer this service free of charge. If you get no joy there, try the AA or the RAC.

Autoglass will fix a small chip.
They can also fix a large fish and mushy peas.
