becasue he got a 'concussion'
theyre using that as an excuse for his knee surgery

He has had surgery, finally. He wanted to take time off after SummerSlam last year, but the DX thing was so hot that they convinced him to wait. He'll be out several months, but has signed a new contract with WWE and will be back - better than ever.

the "concussion" he suffered was kayfabe he needed surgery on his left knee again. Fortunately (cos HBK is my second favourite wrestler ever right behind Bret Hart) it wasn't real like Bret's concussions in 1999

he had a severe concussion as an excuse. in real life his knee was suffering from a legitmate injurt that needs to take time to heal. he'll be back probably by survivor series.
