I'll admit, I'm a Bush supporter right off the bat.
However, I did have issues with his push on getting this legislation through. I didn't agree with it, and the polls say that most of America agreed with me.
I can understand that sometimes a politican has to go against the tide to do what is truly right for the country. However, in this case, I question his judgement.

He is and has been out of touch with reality for a long time. I think it is funny how the right touts the polls saying most Americans were opposed to the aminsty part of the immigration bill yet those same people say that polls mean nothing or can't be trusted when they don't agree with their views. Hypocracy or what?

To be failr, ANYTHING Bush does majority of the population is against. Yet, Bush *still* insists that what he wants to do ist he right thing. Majority of the population was against warrentless spying, war in iraq, (this) immigration policy, and host of other issues.
This country will be nuch better when Bush and Cheney lurl back into the depths of Hell after next year when we have someone in the White House who has morals and an intelligence.

The real question is... How long has it been that any politician, from any party line, did what the people want? Government is out of control, and until the American People get together and vote out both of these parties, at least for a while, nothing will ever change.

It was not Bush's bill. This bill was introduced and rammed down the throat of the Senate by Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and the Democrats of Congress.

It was a bipartisan hack bill, the people stood against it. It wasn't only Bush that brought it in, did you forget about Kennedy? Did you see which senators voted for it in great proportion?
Geezus... and I don't even LIKE Bush!
