I have a mama rabbit that just got wry neck, she couldnt jump into her next box so I put her babies in with anoughter mama s babies... so there is 10 total on one lionhead.. so I was thinking I should supplement them ith formula... what formula would you use and what kind of bottle .. who long should one bunny nurse a day? please all the infomation you can give to me... please include were you recieved your infomation

ok 10 may be ok but check them often to see if any need help then get kitten milk (powdered is best then you can use it for a long time) and use a 3cc seringe.

and the one with wry neck, if she is so bad that she cannot jump into her box then she may be to far along to save so don't get your hopes up. make sure she can eat and if she can't I would consider putting her down.

It sounds like the mother may have an inner ear infection or possibly ear mites instead of wry neck.

Baby rabbits only get milked once a day. You did the best thing you could do by moving the babies in with the other doe. I'd recommend only giving formula to the babies that look like they aren't growing as well (the runts).

Go to your vet to get a baby rabbit feeding formula. A veterinarian could answer that question better than I as far as formulas.

Also be careful that the doe that had the litter on her doesn't get mastitis since you pulled the litter off her pretty quickly. Might be a good thing to take the one you say has wry neck to the vet to get it checked out.
