Any happy songs from e.g. Pop: Mika,Pink, Justin Timberlake, Rock: Oasis, Beach Boys,Queen, Kasabian, Linkin Park - or dance and club music - it is at the beach after all and....what the heck its summer!
I like metal, myself, but I'm not really fussed about music.

Fall Out Boy, Motion City Soundtrack, My Chemical Romance, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, Franz Ferdinand, The Cranberries, The Academy is..., +44, The Used, and Bond. Those are all my fav's. I suggest using all of these very good songs to dance to.

my favorite rock songs are any songs by AFI...but that would sound kind of dumb if you played it at a beach themed party....i say just get some really crazy fun music...like the cha cha slide and other line dances to get everyone pumped!
