I find that, any email from an unknown sender is, 99% of the time, going to be spam, and, if you aren't using the filters that you are provided by Yahoo!, you are going to get millions of these things.. And, if I don't know someone who sends me an unsolicited email, I check the box next to it, and click on SPAM! which is what YOU should do, as well..
