I have 7 sprinkler zone in our system, 3rd and 4th zone work together when timer reaches 3rd or 4th zone position. I changed the solenoid switchs for 3rd and 4th zone, but the problem still exists. What could be the issue?

Either the wires are touching somewhere or the stations in the controller are bad. Disconnect zone #3 and run 3 then 4 and see what happens. Then to make sure connect 3 and disconnect 4 and run each zone and see what happens. If both zones turned on, then you have bad wires. If only one turned on at a time, then the stations in the timer are bad and you need to move the wires to an unused station in the controller or replace the controller if there is not an opening.

No expert here....but it sounds like a wiring problem. The two wires for station 3 and 4 may be touching somewhere. Check the connections in the controller. Good luck!!!

If you changed the solenoids and they are working properly, I would say the waterlines are tied together after the valves. Someone did a cross-connection.

Wires are touching in the timing unit.

Sensible is an idiot.
