The rectangular shape of the frames you've chosen is a good one for round faces but it's hard to tell because there are a lot of other factors besides face shape.

You want the frames to mirror your brow shape, the color to complement you skin tone, eye & hair color. The frame and lens size should be proportionate to your features. The frame also needs to fit you comfortably and rest on the bridge of your nose well so you don't have to adjust them constantly.

I've worn eyeglasses since I was in high school and these are some things I've found helpful:

1) Find an optician you trust. My favorite optical shop has 2 people who have good taste & are honest about what looks great. They are also patient and very experienced when it comes to fitting the frames for me.

I've worked w/ a few other opticians & wished I had walked out of the store instead. Feel free to shop around & check out the vibe of the place. If you don't feel satisfied, don't order anything. Find another shop. Eyeglasses are a personal item you wear every day so it's important you get excellent service.

2) Consider your own general style sense. You want your eyeglasses to work w/ your wardrobe - either as a bold statement or as a neutral piece.

Good luck!

It's hard to say without seeing them ON you. The most important thing is that YOU like them. When I got my last pair of glasses, my mom and boyfriend didn't like them at all. But I loved them and thought they looked great, so their opinions didn't matter at all to me.
