Masturbation isn't going to harm you, unless your using some weird object to do it with. And you can do it as much as it works. But don't get obsessed about it, once or twice is probably enough. It isn't a medicine it's not going to cure anything and you shouldn't be doing because your boyfriend says you should. Masturbation is for you to do, if you want to do it thats fine but it's not something that he should be making you do. (Unless BF meant best friend then just replace boyfriend with best friend and he for she) Plenty of girls get on with life fine without doing it. It also is not a precurser to sex, it won't make the first time easier. Masturbation can actually make you want to have sex sooner so it might not help with your plan.

as long as your hands are clean, or any toys you may use are clean, there is not problem with masturbating daily. Be aware tho, that use of a vibrator can reduce your sensitivity.
