Spoken like someone who has no idea of how America is supposed to work. Look, there is a constitution, you know. The conservatives are strict constitutionalists. We believe that the founding fathers knew what they were doing by putting the power in the hands of the people and the states respectively.

The liberals are for a much more socialistic all powerful, centralized federal government. They want it to control things it has no constitutional authority to control.

These are two very different philosophies. They are in a constant struggle to change the course of America. The conservatives want to turn it back to the constitution and the liberals want to turn it towards socialism.

It is not possible to work together and go in two different directions. So it is now up to people like you. You need to get into the game. You need to learn all you can about the philosophy of both sides and decide which way you want to pull. That means gaining a good understanding of the constitution and what it says. Not just listening to someone promise you free health care and thinking that it is a good idea. Is it constitutional should be the question.

Standing in the middle of the road crying "can't we all just get along?" achieves nothing. If you learn your American History you will find that the system was designed to be contencious. It was designed to be in a constant state of strain. No one side can just dictate it's desires. It needs at least some support from the other side to get anything done.

This is what the founders wanted. If you wish to change the course of the great ship America you must have the support of enough people. The more important the decision, the larger the majority must be to make it.

i will do it quite straight forward. Like quite straight forward. The term comes from the French government, the place the peasants who needed equality sat on the left, and what you will possibly call the top classification on the main suitable. a techniques a techniques left wing. Communism. (don't get this mixed up with Stalinism, all it means is the finishing of inner maximum components) Left wing. Socialism so as meaning the government controls the financial equipment. authentic wing. this is once you have an open industry, so the government would not administration the agencies, case in point if Tesco suddenly desperate to purchase out Asda and Morrisons and so forth. the government might give up it, to verify a monopoly would not happen. yet interior the a genuine wing society this would not take place. With issues like rules you get onto the Authoritarian/Libertarian scale, so like greater rules = Authoritarian. much less rules = liberatarian.

I have noticed by observing nature that it takes two wings to fly. Any creature with only a left or a right wing can only flap around in circles on the ground until the coyotes, vultures, and hyenas close in.....

AYE!!

work together under whose ideals.
Democracy demands that there are a host of people with differant view points. If they all put aside thier differances and worked together then democracy would cease to funtion as it was meant to.
Im making an assumption now that you live in a Western country, in which case we all slant more right than left. In which case left wing people would be required to make a bigger change. Which isnt fair. Unless you plan for them to meet halfway, which, lets be honest would never happen and never should.

No... The view is for the human race. To work for the good of any Nation is not conducive to harmony. This is separatist drivel and Conservative patriotism hype to keep the world in turmoil.
