It is a bad idea. i have even heard that some companies interview foreign workers then post the job so specific to that candidate that there is almost no way any other person could meet all of the criteria. they then claim they can't find a suitable candidate in the US and hire the foreign prospect.

Good idea! Often a company can outsource those jobs to individuals with a higher education, experience, and that are willing to work for much less than the equivalent US based employees. The individuals that receive the jobs are happy with their work environment and the company in general. Often times the buildings, equipment, and salaries provided to those individuals are much better than anything that might be offered by any local business. In return, the US based companies that are outsourcing can offer their products at lower costs to US consumers making it possible for more consumers to be able to afford the product and benefit from it.

It is a way for companies to increase their profit... Outsourcing to foreingers means less pay...and they don't mind... But, I don't like it when they outsource customer service jobs... I called a computer company (no names mentioned) for a problem that I was having, and (no offense) I could barely understand a work the guy was saying, then on top of that, the connection wasn't the best...

Bad. Our companies should be keeping Americans employed. I voted for Bush but since he has been in office blue collar jobs are on decline and white collar on the upswing he is killing middle America. I blame the democrats they keep offering up worthless candidates.

It's a bad idea, but it is also the market. I believe we need to find some way to balance the free market while protecting jobs here in the United States.

Well, it's good for the business, they get cheaper labor, it's good for the country of the employees, look at India. However, it's not great for us, as we have a lot of people that need work.

It's a terrible idea. CEO's and company Presidents are only looking to make as much money for themselves while costing honest Americans their jobs.

its good for the person who does it and crappy for the economy. you really can't blame the person for wanting to do it, he makes way more money that way, but it does bring down the economy a lot.

It is capitalism. It is bad. It is better to employ more people inefficiently and at the expense of "profit" than it is to have these people unemployed.
