I have read on here about 20 times that Ann wanted John Edwards killed in a terrorist attack. Here is what she really said:
Here is my full sentence on "Good Morning America," which the media deceptively truncated, referring to a joke I told about Edwards six months ago that made liberals cry: "But about the same time, you know, Bill Maher was not joking and saying he wished Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack -- so I've learned my lesson: If I'm going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I'll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot."
Does that sound like she WANTED Edwards killed in a terrorist attack? Or does it sound like she was pointing out the hyprocrasy of the lefts idea that free speech only applies to them?

She pulls that kind of crap all the time. She very carefully words things so that they will be taken out of context and then she gets more publicity. She knows full well how her comments will be taken and it is all planned.
Somebody needs to put some rat poison in Anne Coulter's creme brulle.

I find it extremely frightening that people think it is okay for a COMEDIAN like Maher to joke about someone and making statements that they think they should be dead. Yet, anyone else says it and, "OMG how DARE you!"
What is happening with people in this country?

She wasn't pointing out hypocrisy. She lied about what Maher said. He did NOT say that he wished that Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack. She lied.

Just another distortion by our liberal media. Look at yesterday's headlines. Bush's immigration bill defeated! I wasn't aware he wrote a bill on immigration. I think we would have seen "Kennedy and Democrats notch major immigration victory" if it would have passed. Keep reading past what is given us.

Yes it does. She uses the words "I'll just wish...." When we wish for something that implies we want something. So yes she wishes Edwards was killed in a terrorist attack. It is not out of content

The people who matter already know this. Those who want to hate are going to hate no matter what the truth really is.
But, you are correct to point it out none the less.

Yes actually it does.
Here's the difference Maher is a comedian that happens to be very politically knowledgeable. Coulter sells herself as a journalist, not a comedienne. She can't have it both ways, plain and simply.

LOL. You really expect Ann Coulter to tell the truth about something she said? I'm not even familiar with the quote but based on all the rest of her shrieking, it's probably a lie. Get a clue, man seriously.
