I really like the name Soren, but also like Zoren or Xoren and can't decide.
The full name would be Soren Charles Schroeder, Zoren Charles Schroeder Or Xoren Charles Schroeder. What do you prefer???

None. They all sound like science fiction names. Soren is the only "pushing the line on normal" name. I think you should rethink them.

Good Luck.

How about "Flash" -- as in Gordon? Zoren and Xoren sound like Saturday morning TV cartoon names of the 70s and 80s. Soren is a decent enough Scandinavian name, and Xoren has roots in Spanish, Zoren comes up as a rare Japanese name.
But, my first reaction is your son will be nicknamed "Chuck" or "Charles" (because he and all his friends will find it hard to relate to his first name whichever of the three you choose) or Chuckie-Z if you go with Zoren.
Both Zoren and Xoren show up in video games, by the way. Is a playstation name what you are going for?

Neither! Coren Charles Schroeder, nickname Corey!
Or even Corben Charles Schroeder - distinctive and classy!
Soren - sore?
Zoren - zzzzz!
Xoren - generation X syndrome!
You're on the right track but I'd really reconsider down the line, how the child will feel with an odd name. Good luck!

I don't think that Soren is a *great* name, but it IS a real name. It was the first name of the famous philosopher Kierkegaard. So, at least it's got that going for it. Plus, at least he wont' be one of fifty Bradens, Braydens, Braedens, and Braedyns in his class! Two points for Soren.

I would DEFINITELY spell it Soren. If you spell it otherwise, you're using an unusual name and giving it an invented spelling, and that's just going to be an annoyance to the poor kid his whole life. Plus, Zoren looks like a name for an alien planet or a "trendy' version of Zorro, and Xoren looks like the name of some type of radioactive substance you'd find at the bottom of the periodic table of elements.

don't do Xoren because most people wouldn't get that. Soren or Zoren would work though. I think it's kind of cool sounding. I like it, and it only really matters if you like the name. and if you think your kid won't have problems with it, then go for it! good luck!!! <3

I like it spelled with a "Z" the best. Zoren Charles Schroeder would be cool because of the neat nicknames you could give him. You could call him "Zorro", LOL, Zorry or something like that. Plus if he can't stand Zoren as a name, his middle name is Charles so he could go with any one of the many nicknames Charles has.
An "X" might also be cool but I don't like the "S" spelling.
Hope this helps. Good luck and don't listen to the negative stuff people are saying because if this is the name that you feel is best for your child go with it and you will be happy that you did.

Zoren. The only reason I would choose that one is because it would be the easiest to prononuce. I think that all of the other ways would be mis read/ pronounced.

Go Zoren!
