I do not understand why you do not like illegal immigrants? Aren't illegal, people who came here to have a better life and that is all? I am not saying that they should come here illegally. But don't you agree that high school students should be allowed to stay here, because they have to go to college.

My real question is: Don't you agree that at least illegal immigrants' sons who have been studing here from a long time should get a chance to go to college?

I don't hate them. Every single one that I have had a chance to talk to came here for one reason - to give their children a better life. How do you hate someone who is here for that reason???

An ILLEGAL immigrant is breaking the law, which is why they shouldn't be here. If you want to come to this country so badly, then do what millions of other immigrants did--come in legally through the system.
It isn't a question of being "mean", it is a question of enforcing the laws that are on the books.
No one *has* to go to college. College is a choice, not a privilege or a requirement.

They're more than welcome to come here. All they need to do is submit the proper paperwork and wait for the approval.
As for "high school students should be allowed to stay here, because they have to go to college"....who EVER said that anyone "HAS" to go to college?
Even if they're living in another country, they can still go to US colleges and universities. Again, all that's needed is the proper visa and have to pay a higher tuition.
And to answer your main question, hell, no I don't like illegal immigrants. I'm an honest, law-abiding citizen, and when I go abroad I respect the laws of the country I'm in. Illegals don't, and that puts them right in the category of liars and theives to me.

I don't like them because just by coming here they are breaking the law and getting away with it.
I don't mind immigrants. I just want them to go through the proper channels to get here.
EDIT: By law, a person born in this country is a legal citizen. Which technically means that if a pregnant women crosses the border illegally and gives birth to a child in this country, her child is a legal citizen and she is not. By all rights, the government could throw her out of the country and put the child up for adoption.
RE-EDIT: I'm not trying to be mean here. Just stating facts.

1) They do not pay taxes but use up our resources ( public schools, public heath care etc).
2) They send $20 billion of our money to Mexico every year.
3) They are the largest group of people involved in identity fraud.
4) They take away jobs from poor LEGAL americans
5) They broke the law (thats why we call them illegal)

You know....I think this hinges on personal responsibility. The parent were personally responsible for bring them here illegally and should leave with them. Don't blame us for their crimes.
Most came here for a better life...ILLEGALLY, Follow the law if you like our country better than your own or take back the one that is treating you like crap and keeping you in servitude.

It does not matter why they came here. If they want a better life why start it by breaking the law? I cant pick and choose which laws I want to obey. We are not responsible for them in any way. No one has to go to college and they can continue their education in their native country at their expense not ours.

Say you were the cashier at a grocery store and a customer cut in front of another customer. You said something and they cussed at you. Would you like that?
On the studying issue, they should have to pay international tuition.

I think if they want to live here freely they HAVE to work in the ARMY for 6 years. Fair enough?
And yes they should get a chance to go college. So our economy can grow.
I'm trying to be on the neutral side here.

I work in the medical field. You have no idea how much it costs every month because these people come in with no ID, SSN and no means of paying for the services they receive. They fill out all of the proper forms but leave false names and addresses.
