You know you need coffee when you fill up the basket with fresh grounds and a fresh filter, put it back in the maker where it's supposed to go, but instead of pouring out yesterday's coffee and rinsing out the carafe, you pour yesterday's coffee into the back of the machine where the fresh water is supposed to go.....
It was that point I switched to instant.

When you wander around the house bumping into walls because your eyes have become such tiny slits that you can barely see through them.
