First find the Volume by doing pi(4.3^2)*10.2 and then multiply it by density 5.8 to get the mass = 3436.49 or just 1110pi

V = π x 4.3² x 10.2 cm³
V = 592.5 cm³
Mass = 5.8 x 592.5 g
Mass = 3436.5 g

Volume of cylinder = pi*r^2*h = 3.1416*4.3^2*10.2
= 592.5 cm^3
Density = 5.8 g/cm^3

Mass = 592.5*5.8 = 3436.5 gms

given: density=5.8 g/cm^3
they also gave you the radius and height of the container, so now you are able to find volume: v=pi(4.3cm)^2(10.2cm)
v=592.5cm^3
So now you can use the formula: D=m/v and fill in what's given

5.8g/cm^3=m/592.5cm^3 (solve for m by multiplying both sides by 592.5cm^3 to get m by itself)

Ans: 3436.5 g

density = m/v

D= 5.8g/cm ^3
H=10.2cm
r=4.3cm

v= πr^2h
= π x (4.3)^2 x 10.2
=592.5 cm ^3

m= d/v
= 5.8 g/cm^3 / 592.5 cm^3
=0.0098 g

5.8 = m/(pi*4.3^2 * 10.2)

m = 5.8 * (pi * 4.3^2 * 10.2) g

d = 5.8 g/cm3
v = pi * 4.3*4.3*10.2

d = m/v
5.8 = m /(pi*4.3*4.3*10.2)
..................
m= 3434.75g
