I'm so frustrated! I can't get in to see the doctor until Monday! I am so confused. My husband and I are trying for a baby. Four days before my period was due I had some cramping and light brown discharge which lasted the entire four days. It was never heavy and only when I wiped (tmi). My period is late. The spotting has stopped. I have taken two pregnancy tests and both were negative. I never spot before my periods. The first day of cramping I have a very heavy flow. I'm never late either. I know irregularity can just happen but it's odd to me considering we tried for a baby this month. I am not stressed out, just confused. Does anyone have an idea what could be happening to me? I don't have any other pregnancy symptoms, other than sore nipples/breasts. I've never been on the pill. I had a PAP earlier in the month and all was normal. No signs of infection. Please, if anyone has insight to get me through the weekend, I would appreciate it!

Thank you very much!

You say you don't feel stressed out, but sometimes are bodies know better. In addition, if you've been ill (cold, allergies) that can throw your cycle off. The spotting can be from sex. You have lots of capilaries in your vaginal canal that can rupture just due to friction. If the test is coming up negative, chances are you are not pregnant or miscarrying. If you had gotten pregnant and were miscarrying, the products of conception would still register the HCG on the pregnancy test. If you have any severe bleeding or change in symptoms before Monday, go to the ER. Wishing you well... :o)

A clinical pregnancy test should be accurate by that time. Pregnancy signs might not show up so quickly after conception, but it sounds a little to me like you may have experienced implantation bleeding. Take care of yourself until you can get into the doctor & get some good info, & keep the hope! If not this month, maybe next month! Good luck to you!

I'm sure you're aware that home pregnancy tests aren't always accurate. Especially during the first month. Spotting is not abnormal with early pregnancy........
Just relax and see the doc Monday. You can't change anything before then anyway.

If you are pregnant it still may be a little too early for the pregnancy test. Have you tried those early detection ones. I suggest just hanging in there until they can do a blood test which is more accurate.

Just relax, there's nothing you can do until monday. All this stress of trying for a baby may have caused this. You need to try to stop worrying (easier said than done I know)

It is probably just an odd period. Don't worry about it and talk to your doctor on Monday.

Spotting could be what is called implantation bleeding.
