Ask.

Doctor's ought to be open to all questions and supportive in their response. Asking questions will keep you informed as well as help your doctor because often their answer will bring up other questions.

If your doctor does not make you feel comfortable while asking or even stupid for asking in the first place then absolutely get a different doctor. Although no doctor will ever be as invested in your health as you yourself are, they should make you feel that they are at least interested in helping you be the healthiest you can be.

The only stupid question is the one that you want to ask and don't.

OF COURSE YOU SHOULD ASK!!! That is what your doctor is there for: to diagnose problems, monitor your care and answer any questions you might want to ask.

Recommendation: Make a list of the questions you want to ask and take them with you that way you won't forget.

You can, but TSS is VERY rare and as long as you are responsible you should be fine.
