It is good to answer when there is a good question up. I like the kind of questions that you can get stuck into and produce a real answer for.
Asking questions is cool too, but I tend to get stuck for ideas for good interesting questions and I don't like asking stupid ones. I tend to only ask them when I have a real genuine need to know something.
This was not a bad question though. You must like asking.

Mostly, answering based upon what I know or what fascinates me. But once I get something in my head, I'll wait until I gather up enough points, then I'll ask... and afterwards, answer and vote some more to make up for the points I lost.

i like to ask a thought provoking question that may raise the hairs on a few backs. love it when the nasty answers come in and i get to be a ***** back. I'm like a child at Christmas when i have new emails, it's so so sad, yet so gratifying. i also like to answer if i can genuinely help.
