A. Just stay home?
B. Buckle her in the front seat?
C. Buckle her in the back seat?
D. Just toss her in the trunk so the cops can't see that she's not in a car seat?

No, no, no.
Bring her down to the basement, and tell her you both are playing Houdini. Then handcuff her to the laundry tub and tell her you'll be back in a few hours, and how PROUD you'll be when she has proven her cleverness by opening the handcuffs.
It's really fun. My parents used to do this all the time with me, and I have no mental problems. None whatsover. Really.

If you can't figure out the car seat, why risk taking her where she can get sunburned or wander off with a stranger or go out in the water and not come back?
Spend the day playing "chutes and ladders" or something, but stay home.
Besides, the hot guys you want to notice you in the bikini will notice the niece instead, and they may have longer memories than you expect.

Looks like you're staying home, sorry to say. Can you imagine what people will say if you don't obey the law when it involves a kid?
I know, you have to be a damn engineer to figure out those car seats. I never got it right but that was before they were law.
You were just kidding about the trunk, weren't you?
Whatever you do, don't put her in the front seat. If an air bag goes off...it's game over.
...and they say they're making cars safer these days.

Calm Down..practice fasten her in the seat before putting it in the car.Most kids that age are so use to getting in the seat they can buckle up themselves. After you've mastered that put the seat in the back and buckle it securely with the seat belt. Let the child get in and AWAY YOU GO !

Get some help from someone to put the car seat in the back seat or stay home. Anything else is illegal.

go to cop shop and they can show you how they work. or. drive a pre 1966 car with no seatbelts as they are grandfathered.
