Everytime I close out a site, I have to go all the way back out and restart to go to another site. I have tried to reinstall Explorer 7 and got booted. I do have yahoo IM and have been told that may be the problem but when it is off, the problem still occurs. I receive a note to send message and then another pops up with something about iexplorer has a problem and wants to close down. I figure that I could reset the time on the computer to go back several months and that would help, but it won't let me go back that far... HELP... what can I do? Oh, BTW, I did recently download McAfee also

In June 2004, the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team
(CERT) took the unusual step of urging PC users to use a browser--any browser--other than IE.

I use to have a problem viewing Yahoo webpages and had to revert IE7 back to IE6. I can't tell you how because I don't know what operating system you have.

If you have Windows XP, go to Add/Remove Programs in the control panel and choose to uninstall IE7. When you do that, it will automatically revert back to IE6. I don't believe Windows will let you completely uninstall IE.

If you have Windows Vista, sorry, I can't help you. I don't really think you can have IE6 on Vista.

Oh, and make sure your antivirus software is completely updated. Even if you recently installed it, go in and run a scan for updates, just to make sure.

sounds like a compatability issue; check with the Microsoft site for upgrades and install whatever they have.
