How can we possibly be safe when we are responsible for mass killing and total disrespect for human life around the world. We are more vulnerable than ever because of the hate that has been created by the Bush Adm. and right wing Republicans. People around the world consider us the terrorist since we are the ones responsible for the destruction of Iraq and its people, bombing Afghanistan and supplying amu to kill Palestinians. Anyone who fights back is called a terrorist by Bush! As long as Bush is there we are not safe! On the other hand USA made products are a rare commodity. We have handed over everything to China and as a result our food, health care products and toys etc. everything is tainted and can be called a terrorist attack. No we are not safe and it is our own doing!

Six years is not developing a sense of complacency. I know these scoundrels are patient, but not to that extreme.
What the Liberal media won't emphasize is that Bush's plan is working admirably well. He is keeping the terrorists on the run, denying them funding, he is handcuffing their every movement and action. They can't even communicate by phone anymore because we have highly sophisticated computer programs checking for key words and suspicious call patterns.
Your question reminds me of the joke of the mother who warned her daughter about gypsy curses, citing their aunt Mae who was cursed by a gypsy..... and then died.
When the daughter pointed out that Aunt May died thirty years after the gypsy curse, at the ripe old age of 90, the mother replied, "There's nothing worse than a slow, lingering death."
Forget it, we're safer.

If your going to make the argument that more terrorist attacks occured under Clinton, then it follows that you can say the WORST attack on US soil occured under Bush's watch, and of course the worst loss of lives civilian and military... Following your logic...
I certainly don't feel any safer... Not when they had knowledge of the attacks that were going to take place on 9/11 and they ignored them... Yeah I feel real safe..
In response to the gentlemen above with the issue of the keys to the offices, etc.
Are we to ignore the fact that Ms. Rice and Mr. Bush had the memo in their hands from the CIA stating a terrorist attack was going to happen on US soil, soon? So yes, the terrorists had been planning it for a while, so does this clear Bush and Co. for their inaction?
The problem with this administration is they like to take information warning them of potential trouble, ignore it, then place the blame on anybody else they can.. Look at Katrina- oh wait, that was Clintons fault too.. pathetic

For now, a lot of the reason we don't have attacks here in the US is that the terrorist cells are quite busy in Iraq and Afghanistan. Once the democrats surrender to Al Quaida in Iraq, and pull our military out, I look for there to be more terrorist attacks here in the US. Of course, the democrats won't understand why their idiocy is causing the deaths of so many American civilians, since Reid, Pelosi and their ilk never take responsibility for any mistakes they make

More terrorist attacks occurred on Clinton’s watch, both inside and outside of U.S. borders, than during any other presidential administration in U.S. history.
There have been no attacks since George Bush took the fight to the terrorists.
Yes, thank you xenypoo, the 9/11 attack was conceived and planned on Clintons watch, and executed shortly into Bushs' tenure.
What part of this is too hard for libs to understand?

Safer than what? We have to change our freakin' attitudes about all this. The U.S. will always have some enemies out there. Get used to it. Who cares who they are or whether we call them terrorists, thugs, Nazis, gangbangers.... whatever?
STOP obsessing about it. Its life, and if some bad dudes get in and kick us in the nuts again, we'll just have to deal with it.
We gotta toughen up.

Yes we are safer.
No, terrorists aren't trying to make us get comfortable again.
Sir, where have you been? Haven't you watched the news, to see the terrorist threats that have been put down already?
Just yesterday, there was a chemical used in car coolant found in toothpaste, sent to America by the Chinese, which could kill humans, a few months ago, poison was found in cat and dog food, sent to America from China. What about the nut-cases with the guns in Florida out to kill our soldiers? ALL stopped! Shut-down!
The terrorists are still trying to kill us, we all know it, except you, apparently.
Two gentleman below me, one asks another gentleman, If you're going to use the argument, that more terrorist attacks happened under Clinton.....but the largest one was under Bush' watch?
Sirs, below me? I wonder why? Did you know Clinton REFUSED to hand over the keys to the offices of the FBI, and CIA to Mr. Bush after his election? Did you know it is protocol to hand those keys over to the President elect, IMMEDIATELY after the election, so the President elect can become informed of the goings on in the government? Out of spite, selfishness, and hatred of the Bush family, Clinton DELIBERATELY held those keys back for over 2 months, setting both Mr. Bush, and Condoleeza Rice back for months, making them ILL-PREPARED for possible dangers to America!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU BILLERY CLINTON for 9/11!

We are indeed safer in my opinion. If we had not responded there would have been more massive attacks. I do not think the US will become complacent so long as a Republican is President.

They are bidding there time as the left weakens security under the guise of loosing Liberties. The things and controls that have stopped other threats, just like today in Britain, are all programs the left complains about and the ACLU wants taken away......

The invasion and occupation of Iraq has probably been the single biggest recruiting tool ever for the terrorists. That alone means we are NOT safer.
