It is not an "IF" question, but a "WHEN" question.
We will move on, will survive. some migratory birds' numbers will diminish, while others will adapts and flourish.
Moss might change its mind about which side of the tree to grow on.
The people will suddenly become infatuated with compasses, and the magnetic compass industry will see a spike in sales. Global Positioning Companies will tell us all that their system has not changed, and if the normal person wants to maintain some regularity in their lives, then the GPS system is a 'must have' item.
Doomsday authors and peddlers in fear will also see a rise in influence, as they project their peril for money and power.
My point is, your everyday life will not change. There might be some climactic changes, but as a species, we have survived this event before.

Incoming solar radiation would be deflected toward the South Pole instead of the North Pole. Be advised that polar reversals do not occur in a day. They take tens of thousands of years to complete. During the interim, secondary dipoles not located near the axial poles assume the role of the primary dipoles.

The magnetosphere collapses. Satellites get mildly cooked by charged hard radiation and severely dinged by solar flares. ISS FUBAR inhabitants get roasted. Auroras down beyond mid-latitudes during during solar storms. Background radiation rises from atmospheric particle showers. China laughs at Tibetans; Colorado cancer incidence rates incease.
Magnetic compasses are useless.
The upper atmosphere is slowly progressively stripped by the solar wind, especially as water loss (MW = 18 vs 29 for air).

I think it's part of what's going on in our world now. Chaos, calamities, catastrophic events- earthquakes, increased volcanic activity, solar flares, famine, etc, as well as some predictions & even certain prophecies being carried out. Some will adapt, some won't. Eventually, balance will be restored, though cycles tend to repeat themselves.
I think that this is what's being referred to in "...learn to stand unshaken against the crash of breaking worlds".
