One time she told me she said whatever to her dad and he freaked out when they got in the car he slapped her pulled her hair cussed at her and said "I hate you ,you are a mistake I wish you were dead." Thats not right! she cryed so hard talkin about it. i dont know what to do. She said he is a really nice guy until he gets mad. I think she scared because she loves him and she doesnt want him in trouble. one of her friends said they were going to report it if she didnt b/c just one thing could set him off and that could be the end.. what do i do? She doest have to go over there ... but until she goes to court she does. please someone help me. there has been more times then this.. but she wants time to think of what to do...

tell her that you want to help her... she needs help, and she knows that, i'm sure... then you tell someone about what is going on, and she needs to be truthful about it... they can get her dad into anger management and get him to be a better dad... i do agree with others here that there is a problem, and he might REALLY hurt her if she doesnt tell someone soon

Ok, well if her parents are divorced....maybe...she could move into her mom's house. How old is your friend? Some people are mean and say mean things to the people they love. I think it might be time for your friend to move on. There is no reason for her to be mistreated by someone who is supposed to take care of her.

keeping stuff like that in could hurt her really bad you should do whatever you can to help her. Also you should do things like invite her over to your house for sleepovers and stuff like that it might sound babyish but keeping her out of her house could help save her life you said she is already going to court, so you already did something tell her if he gets very angry that she could always come over to your house, this will tell her that you are always there for her and that she could trust you with anything if you saw anything like a bruise on her that she wouldnt explain or tried to hide then maybeyou could testify against him in the court
