Did you go into Tools, Internet Options, Delete Cookies? That will do it. So will eating them all.

That's happened to me before. Usually I can hear my b/f's voice behind me saying in the fattest voice he can " MMM ...I like Cookies". Making fun of me ... jerk...go ahead and eat your cookies people!!
