Any sites that can help me find public swim areas close to me? I live in the Natomas area of Sacramento.

Pools, rivers, lakes, anything.

Unless you're racing in a pool you should be training in open water (lake, bay, ocean, etc). Call your local Chamber of Commerce to get info on open water beaches that are swimmer-friendly.
- North Natomas Regional Park has a large lake and may have swimming areas.
- Tanzanite Community Park, North Natomas Community, 2220 Tanzanite Way, also has a large lake and possibly swimming.
- Sand Cove Park; 2005 Garden Highway has river accress.
For more info check out:

Here's a list of pools and their contact info sponsored by the Sacramento Dept of Park and Recreation, I am not sure where they are but you will know which ones are closest to you:

Hope this helps!!!
