I think the reason is because Michael Jordan is the worst GM in the history of basketball and likes trading away a player with huge potential for an average at best SG. He traded for Richardson like he was an all star, and it only made the Bobcats worse. The Warriors just got a hell of a lot better though.

No, the trade had already been agreed to before they drafted Wright, it just hadn't been announced yet. The Bobcats were drafting Wright for GS. Besides, he was just joking along. He probably Could beat Jordan one on one, since he's 19 and Jordan is late 40s.

Only if you believe that Jordan is still in Junior High School. The deal was in the works and was finalized after he said that but it was a coincidence. There are so many people involved in trade decisions, they would not let MJ make a rash decision based on soemthing a kid says to him. That would be ridiculous.

Jordan still is in Jr High in General Manager's school. He is a terrible administrator and really has sullied his reputation since his retirement with his performance in Washington and Charlotte.

Jordan wouldn' care if somebody said they could beat him one on one. He's still the best player that ever played in the league, so who cares if they can beat him now. It doesn't matter.

No, the trade was agreed upon prior to the draft. In actuality, the Bobcats are trying to make a playoff run, and felt this was the best thing to do.
