Yep, especially in relation to physical activity.
Not to be too graphic... but... for example... if you don't ride a horse for a very long time, it'll be painful when you try to do it again.
Also, I found that after 15 years of not riding a bike, I was no longer able to do it! I practically LIVED on my bike when I was in high school, and now I can't even ride it around the block. It's sad. I wish I'd never stopped riding.
